El acto cultural estuvo a cargo del cantautor José Bernabé Masís. La actividad se efectuó en Siquirres, en un amplio local del Sindicato de Trabajadores de Plantaciones (SITRAP), que resultó desbordado por la numerosa asistencia. El organismo de coordinación de la zona en adelante se conocerá como Comité Patriótico del Caribe.
